Stare into a quiet night, thoughts become the mind;
memories with emotion and ‘sad’ is only one.
Faces flicker from the past, swirling in the mist.
Some are coming clearer, the ones I hold so dear.

I remember well how different were the days.
I have lived to tell the picture that will always remain.

Remember the secret, the need to stay inside?
Giving the feeling that silence is alive?
Soon came the day when you couldn’t see,
and why you imagined was sad to believe.
